    My $.02:

As others have stated, a grunt will usually punctuate with a few expletives between the growls, barks, and "hoahs", and it took me a couple of years to break the habits (some of which still remain after 19+yrs) . The guy was obviously passionate, and emotions took over his brain/mouth. Who hasn't had that happen?

Either way; another scumbag was exposed (I think they smelled blood at the AR670-1 blank stare), which I think should be the main point.

next they could have commemerative Seal, Recon, and Ranger license plates. You want to commemerate these units or these VETS? Join the military and actually do something and get in these units, no live off somebody elses sacrifice and heroism. I think the plate is bullshit.

I think a seal team 6 plate showing bin laden with a hole in his head might be catchy.

Used to have to prove that your family homesteaded here in order to get Pioneer plates too.

Ok. I was in 75th and here is my take on it. I don't think the language was foul, especially for a grunt. While it looked bad for the poser, if he would have been in a town by one of the 3 Ranger battalions, there would have been no words spoken. Just an ass beating. No cop would have said shit either. The poser was lucky, the ranger calling him out was reserved. There are a million ways we can armchair quarterback this but until it offends friends you watched die, you have no idea how you'll react. Keep posting your "I would have done this, or that" stories here...I treat them as the same words from the poser.

I'm sorry did you just say I was equivalent to a poser? Just want to check before I start laughing.

For all of you complaining about language.. Here is a special report on training for 18B's.. (and before it starts - yes I know 18B != Rangers, but you get the idea)

Oh and one other thing for the people upset about the language - you're ugly and your momma dresses you funny.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

I know that, but it is also misleading.

Not just you. I think you shouldn't be able to get one of those if you haven't been part of the unit. I have the USMC plates and had to show my DD214 for them - I'd be pissed off if just anyone could get those.
