For caucus information and to pre-register, go here.

Just got home from mine, in Adams County.

On the plus side, there was a resolution out to bitch-slap Ryan Call for sabotaging the recalls. It passed in my precinct. (Okay, 3-0 isn't much, but a win is a win. Maybe if there was enough non-support, he'll re-discover a family commitment and need to pass the reins.)

On the minus side, the closest thing I saw to a candidate was a guy claiming to represent Fred Ramirez for sheriff. I asked him about NFA, and he mostly looked at me like I had genitals growing out of my forehead. Never got a chance to ask about un-fraking the CHL application process. On a personal level, I know Fred and like the guy, but the candidate who gets my vote will be the one who gives me good answers.

Also got some looks when I was asked about being a delegate, which involved coughing up money for the party (and therefore for Ryan Call's slush fund.) I told the other people at my table that I wasn't going to give the party itself the first cent until Call himself explained why he'd tried so hard to torpedo the recalls. I don't know how much that influenced the others from my precinct, but it seemed like at least a seed was planted.

ETA: There was also a resolution put out, to add to the party platform the repeal of all of the gun laws in the last legislative session. Again, passed 3-0 in my precinct. Way too tiny a sample size to make predictions, but what the hell, it's a start.

See you at the county assembly! Didn't try for state or 5thCD.

I'm a county delegate too. We had 17 of 280 possible people show up, which was considered good.

I also am a county Delegate! Anyone else a Delegate for Adams County?
