Hang a "Gun Free Zone" sign on the outside of the fence. I am told it is the proper way to handle personal safety concerns.

This. Except the image of the gun can now be menacing enough to emotionally damage someone so you have to be careful.

I saw a pic once of a coyote with it's head stuck in a pvc pipe. He was dead. The story I got was he chased a rabbit into the pipe and had a hold of it. Well getting out was the problem.

Maybe bait the inside of some 2'x6". Cap one end and lay them in the yard. Let nature take it's course or finish off the trapped animal.

Tell them to get a real dog.

Tosa Inu. That thing would tear a coyote to shreds.

I would just be shooting it if I was the owners, self defense and my kid was outside....yada yada. That is if you even see it again.

you must have a small game/fur bearing license and have it registered with the HIP office to legally hunt a coyote in colorado http://cpw.state.co.us/Documents/Rul.../smallgame.pdf

caught in the act self defense of course is another matter, if you are going to go hunt this thing a license is required.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

A German Shepherd will solve the problem as well as protect the kids from just about anything. Mine watched over the kids on my property and we have a lot worse things then Coyotes. My sister shoots them all the time on the ranch.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

They look fairly hearty, for having been shot by a family member.
