    Default Beretta 92/96

I've shot them and the Taurus copies, but the pistol didn't pique interest. Until I saw this:

And where did you see it? For I'm sure too much money.

Eh. Besides maybe the mag release and sights it doesn't look too much different than any other m9 a1. Oh, and the aftermarket grips. Although I'm sure there are internal mods as well if it is a Wilson Combat piece.

Are those the ones Ernie Langdon has a hand in?

Yeah, I got the email from Wilson too. Makes me want to send in one of mine and see what comes back. They are already decent shooters off the shelf, so I wonder if the value would be there for their upgrades.

Yes it is. Wilson's website, from what I read, smiths your pistol to Ernie's specs. $750 for most of the options. Not bad considering what it would cost for similar mods to a 1911.

It may be dumb, but the Beretta 92 was the handgun that got me into handguns! I love the way that they look, and have heard all the negatives from buddies who were in the military. Maybe I'll get one eventually just for fun. But in the meantime I have more important gun purchases to make!
I don't make the rules. I just think them up and write them down.
