Not a surprise a all, with McCain etc also backing the moderate/Rinos. It is interesting watching the media mouthpieces taking about Christy and Jeb Bush (Mr Common Core) all the time - it is clear they are being pushed by the Dems, establishment, and RNC. It will be very telling how much the independents and tea party affect the November elections, and how much ground the establishment loses.

THIS is why Republicans keep loosing by the way ... not opposition to abortion or gay marriage or pot legalization.

Refuse to actually stand for something and nobody will vote for you. The base, and people on "your side" won't vote for you because you're too much like the Democrats ... furthermore, "moderate" independents won't vote for you because they might as well vote for the "real thing" and vote for Democrats.

We have got to get rid of these guys and gals, they have so screwed us over time and time again. They are only in it for themselves and not for the people that elected them. They lie and lie again and the party and the press continues to give them a pass. We must become more engaged and stand up for what is right, talk to people in a rational way without malice and try to change minds. If I can change one vote then I did some good.

I really hate to say it, but a lot of people aren't living in the same world we are here... For instance- my father and grandfather (and many friends of theirs) are party line GOP voters. They get told by the party "This is our candidate" and they say "Well, he's a republican, so he gets my vote." Believe me, I've tried to change my father's mind before (grandfather, at 87, he's too stubborn and doesn't pay attention to the workings of folks like Cruz, Lee, and Paul). There are pretty big numbers within the GOP that won't take a stand and say "No! We're voting for the good candidates that stand for conservative ideals, not Democrat Lite." It's kind of scary how so many "conservatives" do not like the tea party folks.

Uggh, why is it that the Republican party believes that the best way to win is to shoot themselves in the foot? Being a younger guy, I know so many independents that would vote Republican if someone like Rand Paul ran, but when the republicans put up people like Christy, they would rather vote democrat.

Thats very true. However, I am encouraged that the Millenials and younger generation does not seem to be swayed by the establishment types. My 3 boys are in their 20s and see the Republican establishment as part of the problem. They connect more with the independents, libertarians, and tea party.

That because they are Republicans not Conservatives. True Conservatives look to places and candidates like the Tea Party... not necessarily just the Tea Party.
Not until the voting public wakes up and realizes that the Republican Party is just "Liberal Light" and has the exact same agenda as the Democrats just at a slightly slower pace.
It rubs me raw when people say that Conservatives should vote Republican because it is better than the Democrat...... They are the same thing!

I have sat with my dad several times, telling him the two party system has got to go! He doesn't listen well because he thinks he's smarter than I am on all subjects... not exactly. Same with talking emergency services with him, he was a firefighter and thinks that gives him a ton of insight into LE (which in some ways it does, but not on all aspects). But I wouldn't go as far as saying Republican and Democrat are the same, they have quite a few differences, and on paper they are very very different things, it's just the latest batch of folks (McCain, McCann, etc) are Dem Lite. I think it's high time the Republican party gets hi-jacked and turned back to it's older, truer self, with a modern spin infused with real conservatism. I am only a republican by registration, when you boil it down, I'm more libertarian than anything (except when it comes to foreign policy/defense issues), and cannot fathom why Republicans don't think the Tea Party is onto something good.
