He isn't stupid, never think he is. He knows exactly what he is doing. This accomplishes political goals like getting republicans to get angry about defense cuts that he can promise the money to his voting block by saying he cut DoD money to fund unemployment and SNAP. If republicans block it the dems can spin it to make the republicans look heartless and unwilling to give up their corporate war machine that funds their greed at the expense of the poor.

I read the same article you referred to. It s pushing HSSW budget for operational status because the Chinese are moving so much faster than expected.

I shot them as an FT on Subs, then worked on the program dealing with mission dissemination for Raytheon when I got out. I can find no credible source the agrees with this article.... I am calling BS until better sources are found. I would have heard from one of my friends if this were true.

We(U.S.) have a few folks (traitors in this case) who think it was/is OK to sell secret tech to the Chinese. Wonder how much this sort of shenanigans have contributed to Chinese rapid pace?

An Obama budget? That's a laugh. Obama can't even get democrats to vote for his proposed budgets. I'll hold off worrying about this for the moment.
