Calling all volunteers.

I am a public school teacher. On Wednesday, I am having a shoot (with the amazing and gracious support of the Appleseed folks among others) with some of the school kids. Yes, yes I pulled it off in a public school. I would like to invite anyone able to come out to help watch them and make sure safety is our top priority. We have a whole range to ourselves and will be shooting .22lr rifles. I would LOVE to have an adult per kid to help watch/teach, etc. We have some volunteers but I just wanted to open it to everyone in case we could get more bodies out there. We spent the last two days learning our history focusing on the American Revolution, BoR, Constitution, and Characters. We also introduced some historical and modern firearms always focusing on safety!!! I would love to have you out there to help. I can't pay for your time, but I would be in your debt.

Range is Rivers Edge Outdoors. Directions are located: http://www.riversedgeusa.com/Map.html Be careful using Google Directions as it may put you on the wrong side of the river. The range is Southeast of Pueblo but not by much. Kids will arrive around 9:30 a.m. Would love to have you guys come help out. Range is locked for our personal use for the day, so if you come out or think you'll come out, you need to get in touch with me via PM so I can give you my cell number to come open the gate.

Get in touch if you'd like to come on out. I'll check this again first thing in the morning when I get to school (around 7 a.m.).

Next time try giving some advance notice and I for one would sacrifice an annual leave day to help out.
