Default Gong for 100+ yard pistol?

Where can I get or make a cheap easily portable 12-18" gong for long range pistol? I don't need high end rifle steel, it will probably be all lead hitting it.

K&K Surplus (Commerce City) has a lot of round scrap steel in sizes from 3" up to about 3'. I seem to recall it was about $.50c/lb.
