Default Man found guilty after carrying replica bullets

http://video.foxnews.com/v/340356140...#sp=show-clips During a divorce, Mark Witaschek's wife says he has guns in the house and the police come try to search without a warrant. Then a SWAT team comes back with a warrant and they found ONE misfired shotgun shell and some muzzle loader bullets and Mr. Witaschek gets convicted of possession of unlawful ammunition by the same district attorney that refused to prosecute the NBC host that flaunted, on TV, a 30-round magazine in Washington DC. This is the "justice" system in our nation's capital.

We call that rule of law. If this is how the laws are enforced, we have a duty to pick and choose the laws to obey. It's getting close. Many of us follow the law because it is the law. Even when the laws are unjust we try to work within the system change the law. How many of us wonder why we get a ticket for 7 over on road with an unnaturally low speed limit, yet immigration gets no attention. Where's my Kangaroo?

Think that's bad, look into the tax code a bit, that has been enforced by pick and choose for ages, and you practically can't be in 100% compliance with it unless you can file on a 1040 EZ. It's quite disturbing.

53,000 pages of Federal Tax Code, much of it contradictory. Everyone is a criminal.

What concerns me is that a dud shotgun shell is somehow considered "ammunition", as are some lead slugs that could just as easily be fishing sinkers. DC needs an enema.

    Repeat after me:

I will accept any rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

    With complements to Heinlein.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

This is a deep quote. I had to Google him. The guy ought to be a household name. I only recognized a few of his works. You sparked something, I'm gonna add him to me "to read" list.

I'm a big fan of Heinlein. He is the prototype anarcho-libertarian. Google TANSTAAFL.
