I remember Marlin .22 auto loaders for $60 w/ scope. My first SKS was $69 + tax and a 750 round tin of copper washed steel core was $34 (I still have one tin left for "emergency" use. I paid $185 for my M1 and my 686 was $330. I bought my wife a Ruger MKII Target with 500 rounds, a soft cash and Deluxe wood cased cleaning kit for $155 OTD. My Super Blackhawk was $232 OTD 37 years ago and I paid $750 for a brand new 1973 CR250M Elsinore, $375 for a new 1973 Yamaha 175cc CT3 Enduro.
