Just how fast do you need to be passing traffic in the right lane to satisfy some of you people? Passing slower traffic doesn't mean you have to hot rod it just to satisfy some impatient a-hole behind you.
Here's a clue: plan your trip so you don't have to speed or crawl up other people's rears to get where you want on time.
i am not saying she needs to drive faster, she need to slide over and politley let him pass, she is not a cop and she is not there to make sure he doesn't speed, I am also not saying that she is responsible for his accident other than she is being passive aggressive, when someone is obviously wanting to pass, the rules of the road say let him pass, impeding traffic in the passing lane, traveling too long in the passing lane is also a ticketable offense. i know people that have gotten pulled over for this kind of driving right here in colorado. (traveling too long in the passing lane)
just because you are doing 5 over in the passing lane does not mean that you should sit there and prevent others from passing you.
the guy in the truck is a dumbass, there is no doubt, but my guess is she has been blocking his path and dicking with him for quite some time prior to his actions we see on the video. her attitude about being so superior in her driving and the fact that she had the right to be in that lane comes accross very strong in the video. she got so upset because he came up too close behind her in an effort to let her know he wanted to pass, maybe even flashed his lights to let her know he wanted to get by her, so she put on her attitude and stayed in his way for miles.
if there were a way to verify it i would be willing to bet a $100 that is how this all went down.

Its funny how you all are saying she's driving too slow yet the person who is driving faster than her ends up in the ditch.....

Regardless of who's fault, or Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge truck, video was funny.
This guy needs to drive a car/truck with < 150hp with $100,000 traction control on it as an option.
all true, does not change the fact that she was being inconsiderate. just because you are the one driving properly for condition doesn't mean cock blocking the guy that wants past you. guy is a dick no doubt, but his attitude would probably be different if she was courteous enough to let him past. she was just as big a dick.

I don't think she was inconsiderate at all.
Going the speed limit and wanting to turn left in a little bit doesn't mean your inconsiderate to not move over for some DB.
I think the inconsiderate one was the one that was tail gating people, flipping the bird to complete strangers, and speeding around people putting other peoples lives at risk... He could have killed someone when he lost control, yet you people believe she is "inconsiderate"??????

you are also inconsiderate when you dont move into the right lane to allow someone to merge on to the highway, you are incondierate when you don't signal your intentions to turn, you are inconsiderate for a lot of reason when driving,
just becasue you are driving a safer speed and feel you have the right to be in that lane does not mean you do. you are supposed to yield the left lane to those that are traveling faster than you. it is the passing lane, she should have when safe to do so moved over to let him by.
if you dont get that then you are just as inconsiderate a driver.
I never said he was not a dick that is undisputed, but there is also no doubt in my mind she did everything she could to exaserbate the situation. she does not have the right to just drive along and cock block traffic.
According to this link http://jalopnik.com/5501615/left-lan...e-by-state-map all but 5 states have laws regarding traveling in the right lane. And 6 states INCLUDING COLORADO the law says you must yield to faster traffic.
I am not trying to be antogonistic, but if you think she has the right to just sit there in that lane and that she has not done something wrong you are absolutley incorrect. and if you are the kind of driver that will sit there in the passing lane for miles because you are "going fast enough" you are also being a dick.
even wikipedia has a whole page devoted to left hand etiquette and no where in any country or state cited on the page does it say that cock blocking in the left lane is acceptable behavior, tailgating and flashing your lights is a commaon way to let the offender of your desire to pass,

Unless you're actively passing... I've been on I-70 coming down Mt. Vernon canyon at about 70MPH (speed limit 65) and actively passing people in the left lane and had people get pissed behind me because they wanted to pass. As soon as I completed passing, I moved over, yet they still were angry. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. You can't please everyone all the time.
