Recommendations for dies

Currently, I have one die set for reloading 223 but hate adjusting my bullet setting die for different grain bullets.
My first option is to buying 2 more so I don't have to constantly adjust for the three loads I run. 2 plinking loads and 1 bolt gun load.
My second option is to buy a comp die set for my bolt gun load and just adjust my current die for my 2 plinking loads.
Are comps dies worth the extra money or would you rather have three different die sets.

Seriously? Make a dummy round or use one you already loaded. Put it in the shellholder. Raise the ram. Screw down until you feel it touch the case mouth, then screw in the bullet seater until it touches. You might have to adjust a thousandth or two. Should take less than a minute. Since it's sitting on properly formed brass, you shouldn't even have to square up the die.

Of course, if you feel you haven't spent enough money, you could always buy more seating dies to spare you the agony.


Third option - seat your bullets to the same overall length.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am finally going to get crazy serious about my precision loads and I figured running two plus dies would work best. They won't set to the same COAL because I shoot 77,69,65,55 grain bullets.

Hornady lock rings I have 1 or 2 laying around.

I have the redding competition seating die. Expensive but worth the cost.

Get a Redding or Forster Competition seat die. Worth every penny.
