revolver vs. semi auto for CCW

To somewhat change direction. Does anyone currently carry a revolver and have comments they want to share...? Or maybe you carry a revolver now but use to carry a semi auto and why the switch. Other way around too, semi auto from revolver-why semi auto over revolver.

I'm leaning revolver for myself. I don't have a small enough semi auto for a ccw. But I may get one if a strong enough argument can be made.

I carry both a 1911 Colt govt. model, and a S&W .38 snubbie, just kinda depends on my mood at the time. I don't really have a preference to either one.

On this topic the first thing that comes to mind is, what are you most comfortable with? Arguments can be made both ways, 'til the end of time with no clear winner. It all boils down to what works best for each individual. Kinda like the classic Ford vs. Chevy.

Guns to cars. Ok? I like my revolver. Smaller and easier to carry for me. I just don't like the capacity. It is slower to reload and I don't even carry extra rounds. When I did/do carry my semi I didn't/don't carry an extra mag. I'm not lucky like my wife to get to carry a purse to hold extra mags/speed clips. And no I'll never carry a "murse". I'm pro revolver but was just looking for a legitimate argument to carry a semi instead. Didn't get one. I know it it solely an opinion question. Thanks.

Sorry about the 'car jacking' of your thread. I've never heard of a revolver failing to feed. Or its mag spring getting weak.
