Shockingly, Fox News broke into Special Report to say a few things about, then back to whatever Benghazi thing Bret Bair had going on... CNN has more coverage on it. That's kinda shameful.

Why is it shameful to cut away once you've delivered the small amount of information you have rather than spend endless hours with nothing but uninformed speculation? I think Fox handled it right -- broke in, delivered the breaking information then cut back to something they had real info on until more info was available.

What fuel for the anti's?
The /mil changed procedure for on base incidents. The only fuel it provides is for PRO-GUN folks to reinforce having a gun can save lives, in situations like this.

Fuel as in no one can be trusted with a gun. All soldiers are mental defects. Anyone can buy a gun and go on a shooting spree. Need I go on?

Something tells me that soldiers being allowed to carry their sidearms would limit these types of events.

Amazingly, the General in charge of the base completely disagrees with that and wants no part of soldiers (other then leo) carrying weapons. He made that very clear in his press conference when someone asked that quesition

Probably because he wants to keep being a General and get another star.

If a member of the military can not be trusted to carry a loaded sidearm, then that person should not be in the military. We give them machine guns, bombs, grenades, missiles and fighter jets but giving them the responsibility to carry a sidearm is too much?
