Doesn't Greenwood Village outlaw SBRs though? Perhaps they want to know so they can properly handle the situation if the come across someone in their limits with an arm brace.

Greenwood Village is in Arapahoe cty. While not signing off they can't outlaw them.

Isn't there a little city near Denver where Class III stuff is effectively illegal? We just had a thread about it recently.

Ahh, here we go. It WAS Greenwood Village.

When I was younger I got pulled over for driving an ugly beat up car. Got let off with a warning. Was told I should get it fixed. I know now it was really because I looked out of place.

Yep, these are all great examples of how our LEO's are not "up to speed" on current firearms laws that pertain to the general public. Scary, IMO. Not all, but there are a lot of LEO's who are not in favor of our firearm rights. Not trying to cop bash.

Does anyone own a 308 sbr? I am pondering the idea of a 10.5" ar10.
btw I am not looking to debate if a 10.5 barrel is a waste for the 308 cartridge... Yes it is, I don't know if it would cycle well but it sounds like a fun idea.
