Default Flashlights... Green Light Flashlights... Need help finding one.

So, my question is, what is the best flashlight that is either a green light flashlight, or that can be converted to a green light flashlight? I was looking at Surefire's, but I can't find any... not even a green replacement lamp. So, I am asking for help here on the availability of green lights, and which is good enough for night time hog hunts that won't break during moderate use, or by being dropped on a rock on accident.

I have a gerber light that has a multi lens end, you spin the top and it clicks the different lenses over the led.....blue, red, green, and white iirc. Kind of a crappy little light though. You could maybe look for the old military flash lights with the different color lenses in the tail cap - even if you didn't use the light you could snag the lenses out of it.

I have a few new Princeton Tec Quad Tacticals laying around. Interchangeable red, green, blue and clear lenses. 60 lumens. About 50 meter illumination distance. Three light levels and a strobe.

Been using one for about a year and like it.

Give one of these a try: http://www.lasergenetics.com/

The don't put out normal light, but are lasers with a lens that allows you to focus it.

The lowest price one in $145.99 : http://www.lasergenetics.com/nd1.aspx
and is listed with a 100Yd range.

The big daddy is $599.99 and listed to illuminate targets to 500 Yds : http://www.lasergenetics.com/nd3x50-...esignator.aspx

Green is the color that is easiest for your eyes to pick up. Putting a green filter on a flash light will do more damage to your night vision than, say, a red filter.

Is there a reason for green rather then red?
