Default Cerakote upper and lower receiver

Will this create any issues over time? Will a Cerakote upper increase wear on the BCG? Or is this a none issue? I ordered a blem Black Forge set.

A professionally done Cerakote or Duracoat go on so thin that you are well within the tolerances for gap in BCG to upper. Should have no real problems.

Because of how you prep for cerakote you would never want to remove the anodizing from the inside anyway. While it is a tough coating and thin, spraying the inside of the upper would be tricky. I do think it would be nice because of the properties but unnecessary.

I am doing an upper assy in FDE this weekend and only doing the outside. A fresh anodized part just needs a good clean and a light abrasion for cerakote. The only thing that can be an issue is color match because of the dark sub-straight.
