I have two close buddies that work for NYPD. The NYPD and FDNY hate each other. Some of the stories that one of my buddies on the ESU tells me would cause most people to get arrested. It is insane how they act.

Yeah, I don't get that at all but I don't know the history of those departments. They both showed some real class at a charity event, buncha stupid fucks.

My curiosity got the better of me, near as I can tell the animosity is part duplication of services, budget, and fire gets paid to sleep.
