    If all you saw was dad shooting someone, how do or would you know the dad was the aggressor. Not witness to a robbery, just witnessed a shooting. Perhaps someone tried to kidnap the kid and lethal force was needed.

    Jim, that is not the scenario I am responding to. I am talking about a shotgun wielding perp in the commission of a felony who opens fire, who just so happens to be carrying a kid along with the shotgun.... stop it.
