    Me three...

FWIW, I looked at the Rubicon a couple of months back. For $15k less, I'd buy an FJ Cruiser and add some farkles...

That would still be a manual transmision with set gears. I am talking cvt like what nissan an subaru have used. I think you can get it on the maxima, but not sure if they mate it to the v6 or not. I believe subaru used a metal belt, not sure what nissan uses. Volvo may have had one too. Mabe two belts with two sets of pulleys to get better control of rpms and it may lower the amount of torque each belt would have to hold.

I hate the look of the new Cherokee, it looks like something a hipster from the Highlands would drive. I concur with the sentiment that a real Jeep today is the Wrangler. We have 2 older Cherokees in my family and my dad used to have a CJ5 that was bad ass... The only jeep I'd buy these days (meaning post 2000) would be a Wrangler (possibly the unlimited 4-door because my gf's neighbor has one that he loves, and this is a guy who restores jeeps). Wyokid- if people on here are mean, Walmart is running a sale on Kleenex... Toughen up, buttercup
