Im a new jeep hater. I have a 97xj on 35s.
That said, I gave them a chance and drove away in a diesel WK2. It gets better mileage than my 2013 ford fusion ecoboost did by 3-4mpg, has more comfort, a bit of off road capability which I need for work.

I hate the look of the new Cherokee, it looks like something a hipster from the Highlands would drive. I concur with the sentiment that a real Jeep today is the Wrangler. We have 2 older Cherokees in my family and my dad used to have a CJ5 that was bad ass... The only jeep I'd buy these days (meaning post 2000) would be a Wrangler (possibly the unlimited 4-door because my gf's neighbor has one that he loves, and this is a guy who restores jeeps). Wyokid- if people on here are mean, Walmart is running a sale on Kleenex... Toughen up, buttercup
