Yes, I've dodge people I didn't want to deal with. Usually I make up excuses to be polite about it. Haven't told them to just pound sand yet.

Yes, but not necessarily for their opinions. Rather it's due to the way in which they present them. There's enough a-holes in my life. Saving a few bucks isn't work meeting another one. If there was somebody who presented a different opinion than me, but in a calm and reasonable manner, that wouldn't keep me from dealing with them.
