    The owner will never get anything. Insurance policies specifically exclude damage from law enforcement. Police recently pried our back door open and they were at the wrong address? Think anyone from Aurora is offering to pay for the repairs? Not a chance.

    Could you imagine some armed, law-abiding citizen siting there and hearing his back door being pryed open because the police have the wrong address? Whole can of bad things following.

    Of course the sheriff needs it. There might be a rancher grazing his cattle on land the BLM wants to preserve for some mouse or tortoise or something.

    Only hits about 40-45 mph in the right conditions. The treads looked different and sounded more rubbery than our old ones.

    More than likely, they ARE rubber treads/rubber coated. Otherwise they'd tear the crap out of the streets, and I don't see the chamber of commerce taking that lightly.
