Wow, this thread keeps on chugging! I haven't been back on the forum in a couple days, but I'm smiling to see all the fine folks still wishing us well. I'm actually flying in this week to do some house hunting and sign a lease
Boulder is still the first choice for living (we're trying to be within bike distance of my gf's work) but we've got appointments to look at houses in Longmont and Broomfield as well. (Side note: If anyone has available rental property, please drop me a note!)
In another interesting development, for the first time, the gf has expressed concrete interest in getting her own pistol and CCW after a shady Craigslist transaction. I knew CO would be a good choice![]()
Welcome to the forum and 'welcome' to Boulder... 20 square miles surrounded by reality!
David - CS, CO feedback
It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.
Boulder gets a bad reputation for it's politics.... it is a college town however.
My 2 cents,
It is a bit congested traffic-wise but is quite bicycle friendly, and the recreation opportunities that are literally out the front door; are endless. It is a good place.
What do you climb?
I like trad, indoors, and a bit of sport myself.
People own guns?...... in Boulder?!![]()
