    Default Replacement Window Suggestions?

I've got a home in Highlands Ranch with some really big windows and the house is about 17 years old. They were of course vinyl and made by the lowest bidder for the contract. Most of them have seals that have failed.

We just had a nice visit with the Pella representative and have Replacement by Anderson set to come out tomorrow.

Any of you fine folks had to replace the windows in your home and have good experiences or suggestions to share?

You could give my brother in law a call he is in the window business, Scott at A&A Glass (303-906-3789) that is his mobile number. Tell him Doug gave you his number and to give you a good discount. Also he likes to trade and needs an AR upper and a nice scope.

Oh ... nevermind ... I was going to say Ubuntu but I clearly misunderstood the question.

Anderson makes some very nice products, but if you are going to have all your windows replaced, be prepared for an estimate that can be more than a new car.

You need to call Norco Home Improvements. His prices are unbeatable and the quality is top shelf. He did the windows in my house and did a wonderful job.

We just had Andersen Replacements put in this week. Pricey but we are real happy with them and the installers were real good guys and did a bang up job....

Why don't you consider doing it yourself?

Depending on how many windows, the size of the windows, the type etc. You will have around $3,500 for around 7-10 windows, and then another $3,000 in labor costs. Hardest part so far has been taking out the old windows for me (did 7 last Sunday, doing 5 more today).

Some of these windows are very large and 3 of them are high up. I did consider doing them myself, and I'm not gonna'.

    Thanks for the tips, guys.
