    Default Jeep shops

I am buying some amp power boards for the jeep from 4 wheel parts in Denver. I was wondering if it is a good shop to go to? I don't want to install it myself cause you have to tap into the wiring harness, and I'm kinda color blind. If there is a better shop please let me know. 4 wheel quoted me about $360 for installation and would take about 3 hrs. Thanks for the help, I did a search for jeep shops and nothing turned up, then again I didn't try very hard...

My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

It was about 10 years ago, but they jacked up a simple wheels & tires job on a jeep that the wife had. They didn't torque the lug nuts properly, and one wheel threw three lug nuts and the other two were loose & ovaled out the wheel lug holes before the wife's said something to me about the jeep wobbling when turning.
They wouldn't warranty their work or replace the wheel that was bought through them.

Did you try Off Road Ltd. on Colfax just east of I-225 ?

Is the problem the price being too high?

Because you probably know the old adage: Fast, cheap, right... pick two. Honestly it really is pick one. If you want cheap it probably won't be fast or right. If you pick right it probably won't be cheap or fast.

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

In case you are wondering what happens when a local 4wheel shop, that may or may not be named 4 Wheel Parts, fucks up the installation of your wheel, and your driver rear wheel comes off your Jeep while traveling 30 mph, and goes through the front windshield of a vehicle traveling roughly the same speed in the other direction; it looks a lot like this.

The other driver may or may not have taken a tire to the face and lost consciousness while driving, only to wake up while still moving and manage to pull the vehicle safely to the side of the road without hitting anything else. Then, the other driver may or may not have had to pull glass out of their face while thanking sweet baby Jesus that the tire hit the center of the windshield and only grazed their face.

I'm not worked about price, I just want it to be done right and not be messed up!! The jeep is my wife's and she's 30 weeks pregnant and only 4-10 so it is now hard for her to get in and when the baby comes it will be easier for a car seat.

If they can't get something simple like wheels right then I better find somewhere else.
