Default Getting priced out of shooting.

Does anybody else feel like there getting price out of the shooting sport? Its getting to the point where I cant aford to shoot any more and is ruining shooting for me. All the new guns are stupid high priced, and ammo is at an all time high. Even wally world has raised there prices to the limit for me, I havent purshased any 223/556 in approx two years. When it comse back in to the 6$-7$ range I will buy again. 9mm is hard to find and when I do it is stupidity high priced. Anybody else feel this way or is just me???

Nope; me too. I haven't shot in about a year. Just too expensive.

    I've got a .22 handgun I haven't shot yet. It's killing me.

I would like to see that day, but I doubt it will ever happen. Things will just continue to go up in price! Thing is, the ranges are not empty, guns keep selling, and as long as that is happening; the price isn't coming down.

If I shot the 2-3k weekly I use to, yes. Now I'm limited how often I can shoot, it doesn't play in to it.

I can agree with this. It's been well over a year since I have really shot, besides a few quick fun shots camping, or four wheeler trips.

Just keep adding to my pile when I can. I'm not hurting for ammo, but don't really want to try to replace any either.....

Eh... I get more tweaked when I see a $60,000 pick up truck than I do over a $10 box of ammo.

I do see your point though.

I try to buy in bulk when I find a good deal, keeps the price per round down to a somewhat reasonable price. Sure wish .22 would become available again, haven't shot any .22 in a year and a half. Like theGinsue I have a M&P 22 pistol that I have only shot once.
