Looks like a normal british electrical behavior! I've had a POS Japanese car for the last couple of years that was plagued with electrical/computer gremlins, an asthmatic engine, and low gas mileage.... I am used to poor reliability by now!
Wasn't sure if you were working on "British" as well as "Bavarian" but I'll keep your info handy just in case....

I have experience with Euro but specialize in German.

I keep a jar of this around just in case.

I've got a 71 Chevy C/10 in storage. Its my first truck. It'll be chopped to a SWB, have an LSx and T56 transplant someday.

I'm doing a similar build for a customer right now. 59 Apache, pro touring style. Modern suspension, big brakes, turbo LS, 4l80e trans. Should be a fun truck

I'll throw in a X2 for Blast Tech also. That's what they specialize in, automotive sheet metal and frames. They'll do it right without fawking it up.

Ya know, I watch Overhaulin' and all those other shows where they go after project cars and bikes with a team of specialists, free parts, and unlimited cash, and turn out awesomeness in a very short time. Kinda discouraging to us po' boy unwashed shadetree wrenches trying to do it alone over several years.....

I hope to wrench on the ole' 50 Willys Wagon some this summer.
New springs front & rear, maybe upgrade the brake system.
Just get it more road worthy.

Blew the 350 in the crew cab last summer, finally getting around to getting the new motor in. 2 weekends ago I got the motor and tranny mounted, headers figured out, now it's time to plumb, wire, get the front clip back on, install new fuel cell, ect, ect, ect... We were able to get the new motor a few inches lower, and a few inches further back as well.

The plan is to have it running for a test run to Goodguys the first week in June, then we're going to head to the back to the 50's show in Minnesota at the end of June.

New motor is a 6.0 LSX that been cranked up a bit, mated to a 4l80e. Next winters project will be turbo charging it. my goal is 500-600hp on the ground.

I've got an 82 Yamaha Maxim that I'm working on bringing back from the dead. It sat in my buddy's garage for a couple of years, so I've got just a couple things to do to it. Had to farm out the work on the carbs to TFogger though. Work in progress. Pics when it's road worthy.

Haha, thanks lucked out when I found that matched pair. Had to argue with the DMV and 4 levels of supervisors to be allowed to run it. The law states that you can run year of manufacture plates, bad thing is my truck is a 1961 one of 2 years in history that Colorado didn't actually make plates, they just issued stickers for the year that you put onto your 1960 plate, if you look close you can see my plate is correct.

Haha, I got the truck from one of my best friends that passed away, he had those in there. I think once I get it running again I'm going to send them to another friend to put into his truck.
