1 MOA is not 1 inch. MOA= Minute of Angle. If it was an inch scope it would have something like 1/4 IPHY ( inch per hundred yards).

1 MOA equals 1.047 inches at 100 yards.

Sure, and you would need to be shooting at over 1000 yards for that .047 to equal a 1/2 inch difference in POI.......
