Jews have Kosher laws which are similar and in some ways more strict than Halal laws. But, Jews tend to just open their own delis instead of forcing others to conform to their food laws.

So are Vegan Buddhist (hell, some wont even eat spices as to them its worldy delights), 7th day adventists, Hindus, etc etc etc... its just Muslims and their jihad on good food and people with good taste.

I think they're pussies for caving to the demands of a subset of their customer base, but it makes sense as a pure business decision:

Reduce operational expenditure by carrying less inventory, increase sales by making more customers happy. The non-muzzie Brits are such apologetic, tolerant bitches that they won't even stop eating there. From Subway's perspective, it's more or less win/win.

If you think subway is a bunch of caving babies, fine, but if you don't like what they've got on their menu, start your own sandwich chain. They're free to tune their offerings to any customer base they want. I'm not a shareholder, so I don't care.
