Who wants an iGun?

I have zero experience with "smart guns." If they are anything like "smart phones" or "smart cars" I'll pass.

I am interested in the debate and find it curious that the places where these weapons are being sold (or attempted to be sold) already have very restrictive gun laws.

I know this debate has been going on for a while now. What I thought was interesting about this story is the gun store owner in Rockville, MD and the alleged threats made by NRA members which cased him to back down from selling the "smart gun."

I don't want the government mandating any gun issues but in many ways that bridge was crossed in 1934 and it doesn't seem likely we will ever get government regulation out of firearm production and ownership.

I like my safety equipment to be as simple as possible. The less to break the better.

More complicated you make an item the more likely it will fail as mathematics state the the odds of failure would be higher.

Murphy s law states; when you need it the most that is when it will probably fail.


No desire for an iGun, surprised they have not been sued by Apple. I thought they trademarked the lower case "i" crap.
