    Default Camping near Horsetooth Reservoir

We want to go camping this weekend at Horsetooth Reservior, however EVERY site is booked till the end of summer. Anyone know of a place near Horsetooth to camp with a small pop up camper?

Go up towards Red Feather Lakes, or Colorado State Forest.
Either really aren't that far from HT.

    Lorry state park?

There is also a KOA campground near Masonville.

By the way, camping at Horsetooth isn't camping it's called drinking and fishing with a place to sleep.

you might try pinewood it's near Carter Lake, pretty nice place to fish. There is a Nother lake below that that has better camping spots, but the fishing isn't near as good.

Thanks for the ideas, Lorry state park is tent camping only. We don't fish, just wakeboard and paddle board.

Up by Belair and Red Feathers is always good camping, especially of Dead Mans Road. I just went camping off of Happy Jack Road in Cheyenne and was pretty happy. Good riding trails and it wasn't crowded at all.
