No kidding, when I was younger (I'd say 11 or so), I would pronounce it "Heckler & Kotch"- that is until I was corrected to the right way to pronounce it, like "Coke".

Which dipshit in our state legislation pronounces it "Col-o-ra-dah"? When people pronounce it like that I always want to find a banjo and make them feel like they're back home in Mississippi, because those are the only ones allowed to mispronounce our state like that.
Had a guy in my AIT (mind you this is the US Army Intelligence school, not the easiest to get into, or so we thought) who no shit couldn't pronounce "Eritrea."
