I would just guess that changing between the colors just slows production down too much. Now that they have established a good reputation their products are in pretty high demand. I imagine sticking to one color lets them crank out magazines at a higher volume to meet demand.
Not sure why... I had read rumors online, and decided to confirm it with Drake, and sure enough it's true.
We all know that foliage green was never a big seller, but I'm surprised that the FDE is going to be gone.

im no magpul expert but... The magpul website says they are only getting rid of colored MOE mags. Which are the gen 2 mags only. So, they are only making old style mags in black Gen 3 mags will be made in Color, at least according to their official website.
