Picked up this and a distressed wabbit call to see if I can attract me some 'yotes on my next Pdog hunt. Worse case scenario, I just shoot the damn decoy for fun!

Crawled out from under my rock.
MY FEEDBACK
Think it will work? Seems you've cleared what, 1/2 section easy, of critters. At that distance why not by a quad copter with go-pro? Surprised you haven't gone Thermal yet.

Sheesh, I just use a photo of my cat.

Most of the time, a called coyote in Colo. is in range long before a decoy will make a difference, and rarely will a decoy make the difference if there is a coyote that won't come into range with good calling. Some times, when a coyote does come in good and then sees a decoy, it's real easy to lose control of the coyote and an easy kill becomes either shotgun fast action, or running tough shots for a rifleman. For those reason I very rarely use a decoy of any kind. It's just not needed to kill Colo. coyotes. That decoy does look like it would make for a good practice target, although probably kind of spending as a target.
Randy, my night vision is on its way out there...![]()
