Just some thoughts from you guys would be cool. I like hearing pros and cons. I've carried both for mine and find them as equals. That being said I have never had to use either. Thankfully. I know this is a bit vague due to the many models of both.

I like revolvers for their size (ie. j frame) and the fact that they cant be pushed up against something and out of battery. Other than that I cant see why else you wouldnt want a semi. Some people will say reliability but Ive had a number of malfs. with revolvers. I like to know that I have more than 6 shots - granted most people wont need more than that in a sd situation but I really dont want to be the guy who finds himself mistaken at the wrong time.
Edit: I almost forgot a key pro working for the six shooter (imo) .357 mag![]()
80% of the time I carry a 340PD with crimsom trace. I can hide it under a t-shirt on in a cargo pocket of my shorts. And as Graves pointed out, I KNOW it's going to fire. Small size, easy to conceal, and light weight. Other 20% is between a G23 and 1911.

nothing beats a glock for ccw.
ANd nothing beats a wheel gun for not leaving shell casings!
I spent my Obama Stimulus money on a GUN!
I'm thinking you are concerned about reloading???
Oh, yeah, um, that, of course that's what I meant.

revolver! if I can ever find a Ruger LCR in stock... dang it.
I've carried both for years and never needed either one. The revolvers I own are much less of a hassle to carry. However, if the shit ever did hit the fan, I think I would much rather have 17 rounds than 5. I hope I never need either but I will never be without at least one.
