Default Ruger 10/22 at EZ Pawn - $150.00

I really wanted to get this, but as I just got one, I figured I would pass on the news to you all:

It's in the Springs at the EZ Pawn on Fillmore. The stock is in good shape with some scratches on bottom, everything else looks 90% or so. The receiver is really dirty, but looks like it would clean up fine. Really the only problem I saw was it's missing the front sight (has the base, but not the sight). It also comes with a scope mount. It's listed for $180, but they said they would take $150 for it.

You can thank me and/or yell at me for not jumping on this deal. Is it a good one?

If you could, that would be great! My Son & I are gonna do another build & this sounds like what we are looking for. If you get it, PM me & I will meet with you & give you the cash on Sat or Sun when it is convenient for you.

It's still available, but I can't get it for you. As far as I know, it's illegal, otherwise I would be glad to. Sorry.

What exactly would be illegal about a private face to face transaction? Unless he were not legally able to own a gun, in which case, he shouldn't be asking in the first place.

Buying a gun at a store, then selling it privatley to another (not prohibited) person, is perfectly legal.

Oh and the purchase of one gun hardly qualifies it as a straw purchase.
I spent my Obama Stimulus money on a GUN!

This is the grey area thing. On the form 4473 the question "are you the actual buyer of the firearm..." ...he was asked to buy it by another person. Its so confusing and the chances of getting "busted" in this scenario are so low but you never know and now its out on the net so.... Just my two cents.
