    Default Blemished Uppers and Lowers

Has anyone here ordered the Blemished complete Uppers and or complete Lowers from Palmetto State Armory ?
Just trying to gauge what kind of blemishes can expected on them from the experiences of the members here.
I have an aquaintance that wants a low budget AR rifle, and thought that getting a complete blemished upper and lower from PSA's Memorial day sale would be the way for him to go.
I didn't want to have him go with the PTAC complete rifles from PSA, the interwebz have bad reviews on those.
    Thanks,

    SSB.

Yes on Lower. Just cosmetic blem in coating that I saw. Great deal for blem uppers right now for $39.99, but doesn't say if M4 feed ramps ot not.

I've done Blem lowers on a few builds and they were all good to go.

I've bought blemished PSA stripped lowers in the past. It's usually pretty tough to spot the blemish. I don't usually buy anything except blemished anymore.

I bought a blem barreled upper (sqr13 premium 16" mid gas lightweight) and got a great deal. It had a few toutchup spots on the hand guard (alumablack ???)

I also bought a "blem" premium bolt group and it was really nice, don't know where the "blem" is most likely they just wanted to move a bunch. Better quality then "ptac" which is still decent stuff.

Same as everyone above. Order two complete lowers and they were both great. I could not find the blems on either. Both functioned perfectly on 3 different uppers.

I almost think the blem is something they do on purpose to allow them to move mass inventory. every blem that I've seen on the multiple lowers that I have is a scratch low on the flat spot that is covered by the grip anyway.

I've ordered both recently. Ordered two blem uppers and one blem complete lower. The carbine upper had a blem that I found that was cosmetic. The midlength upper and lower, I could not find anything. The lower does fit pretty tight on every upper I have, which I am told is how all PSA lowers are. YMMV.
