    poly wilderness is the way to go!

    i have the 5 stitch wilderness belts. I have worn them everyday for years with a holster. no problems, to twisting, no sagging. works great. and not too expensive.

    1.5" Aker B21. I wear one all the time, holster or not, it's very comfortable. A bit over $40, has the polymer liner for stiffness.

    If you prefer leather, I picked up a Carhart heavy duty work belt for work, and it does great job for a carry belt. And it is below your price point.

    There are usually 1 or 2 guys at the Sertoma gun show who make excellent heavy leather belts.
