Default THINKING about a gun is a thought crime in todays schools.

You can't tell me that this isn't a purposeful strategy to brainwash children into buying the anti-gun hogwash.

Gun Picture Gets Boy In Trouble

A little boy is in trouble for a picture he drew as part of a school assignment.

Second grader Kody Smith was assigned to go outside, look at the clouds, and then use his imagination to draw what he saw.

"Draw a picture of what you see in the clouds from your imagination and that picture is a gun,” explained 8-year-old Kody.

Because it was a gun, the teacher at Talbott Elementary in Widefield called him into the office, and then filed a behavior report. His parents say that's too much.

“It hurts. It hurts that he was so scared for being penalized for his imagination,” said Kody’s father, Jeff Smith.

“He’s 8 years old. He was doing exactly what he was told to do for the assignment,” said Kody’s mother, Angel Rivers.

The report says Kody showed behavior that is disruptive to the entire learning community. The parents were worried that this would be on his permanent school record. The Widefield School District says it will not be.

D-3 also sent us this statement: “Our primary responsibility as a school district is to ensure safety of all staff, students and community. We exercised an age-appropriate reaction to an incident. The student's education was never disrupted nor is this incident on the student's permanent record. Our response was in line with routine procedures focused on school safety.”

This story reminds me of why I'm glad I don't have children because I would likely have been arrested years ago for throttling some feckless, moronic, public school teacher and/or administrator. Those of you with little ones that have avoided this fate have my utmost respect for your patience greatly outweighs mine.

Yes, Public Schools are an indoctrination institution. Much easier to create an organization like the Jugendbund and educate the future and mold it the way you want your country your subjects to act. Also much easier to gather information about your resistance if you have thousands of human bugs in the homes of the people.

When I was in grade school I used to draw pictures of guns, warships, warbirds, tanks, and when given the choice I did my book reports on WWII. Never once was I criticized for any of it and in fact, a picture I drew of a Kamikaze diving on a Destroyer was displayed in a case with other student's art work. In high school I was on the school shooting team and we took third all city. This was all in the Los Angeles City Schools. How things have changed.

    We are so screwed.

Thanks, knew i forgot 1. This mentality doesn't deserve a trial. They sure as hell would like to do away with us as quietly as possible. Why not reciprocate.

With all the time and energy spent on finding things that the kids can't do, when do they find time to "teach"?

Yes, I know the answer. What teaching?

It would have been OK if he drew the chlld safety lock on it or with a blow torch cutting it in half.
