Looking for Camping Site

Hey, wondering if anyone can recommend a camping site that might be good to get out with my kids and do some plinking with the 22 and some fishing as well. Would be best if easily accessable by my non 4 wheel drive and not to far from the front range.

If any one has ideas please send them.

Tarryall, camping, and you can shoot up behind on the west/NW side good access no 4x4 needed.

Go to Pine jct on 285, turn south towards deckers. Go thru town of pine 7-8 miles there will be a road that says to wellington lake. The Colorado trail is also there. go 1-2 miles towards wellington lake on dirt rd. There is alot of cool rocks you can climb on, my kids love it there. ........ALL free camping.............., and 150 yards off road you can shoot. Find a good back stop and have fun. Not much fishing but go towards the lake and there are streams. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

This is only 1-2 miles off Pine Valley rd that goes to deckers. NOT wellington lake. Wellington lake sucks.

but ya gotta pay, for no fish.. you can also go to Bailey on 285 turn left at the bottom of Crow Hill on 68, then go to Wellington..

However tarryall is a great place to fish and shoot and no crowds at this time.
