RIP Hans Rudolf Giger.

He was responsible for the alien in "Alien", and a lot of other "disturbing" images.

Not true, he was responsible for more than the alien and he did know firearms. Unfortunately pegging him in to the Alien sphere, is like saying Charlton Heston is remembered for his From my Cold dead Hands. Instead of movies like Will Penny, Ben Hur, Planet of The Apes, 10 Commandments etc.

When i did artwork i had his Necronomicon books series, and Alien, in german. It was a must have for ones portfolio. Talk about designs / drawings that would give someone nightmares.
