Because there are dozens of think tanks, analysts, pundits, and media consultants that seek to frame everything that doesn't promote their agenda as puppy kicking baby punchers. Your average schmuck is so bombarded by these messages that it has an effect over time. That's why already you're seeing the same political commercials constantly already, such as linking Republicans with a Christian version of Sharia law.

    Uhh…no. We are.
The media calls the NRA a front for gun manufacturers because that is the propaganda of the gun control advocates. They want to make people falsely think the NRA represents manufacturers rather than the millions of voting gun owners they actually represent.

Its not a mistake. Its an intentional lie. Fight it whenever you see it.

Look at the way the same folks foam at the mouth about Rush Limbaugh...although they've never listened to him. They also feel that they'll be just as popular in the talk radio space as conservatives, but they just "haven't found their Rush Limbaugh yet".

It's all heat and no light from them. It's easier to emote on a target than to reason logically.

Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.
