Default Any Brew masters on here?

I have seen some post about brewing beer; any of you a "Brew Master"? Or any of you know one?

EDIT: I want to ask a 2nd part to this- What is your favorite type's of brew? Stout, wheat, red, etc? If your prefer a whisky, malt, liqueur please feel free to add that to your comment. If you like more than one please share!

    Thanks,

    J

There is a home brew store right by me... I've been in there a few times and the guys are pretty knowledgeable.. I just haven't pulled the trigger and tried it. It's on S Broadway just north of bellview.

Dry Dock brewery started as a home brew store.. now they're churning out deliciousness.

I homebrew (less now being diabetic) and I worked at The Brew Hut for a year and Dry Dock for another year right before they expanded and shifted over to their new location. It was a good way to expand my knowledge and equipment since at the time Kevin could only pay in store credit. If you stop in at Brew Hut, Steve Headstream is the manager and was president of Foam on the Range brewing club, also a guy there Nick is really knowledgeable. Really anyone behind the counter there can help you start up, but those are the two I still know the best. I still brew occasionally, and make meads and ciders, but I can't keep 30 gallons of alcoholic beverages around anymore.

I wouldn't consider myself a brew master because then I'd be getting paid to brew, but I do know that building a recipe can be as easy or as complex as you want it to be. Those of us "hobby" brewers on here would probably be willing to give it a collective try. Every "Brew Master" started out as "Brew Amateur", maybe one of us is a master and didn't know it.

Have any details you'd be willing to share?

ohhhhhh... I wish i could find a city that doesn't have a microbrewery to start a business.

I totally have the theme too, and a few good recipes. Problem, is paying the bills until you make a profit.

While we are on this subject... maybe we should hijack this thread an coordinate a COAR Brew fest?
