Default New to reloading.... anyone want to help?

I am not, nor have I ever claimed to be, a smart guy. On a 1-10 scale my mechanical aptitude is 3. So putting together my new Dillon Square Deal was a challenge for me. Not only do I not know if I put it together correctly, but dillon has a backorder on reloading manuals so I don't know if I'm doing the reloading process right anyways.

When I get my next shipment from dillion with my scale, book, primer flip tray, etc (its a beginner's kit) , I was wondering if someone who is knowledgeable can come over and show me how its really done. Of course if anyone was to take some time and come by to show me, beers would be on the house. Thats the best I can do in these tight times!

I know there are plenty of FAQ's online about reloading but I am an auditory leaner and would benefit from someone just telling me and showing me.

I am in the Bailey area if anyone is interested or close.

Thanks a bunch guys, hopefully someone can spare some time.

If I lived closer and had more time, I'd be happy to show you. I was feeling the same way you appear to be before I actually had a co-worker show me.

If I can make a recommendation, let the beer flow freely AFTER the reloading occurs and only lightly DURING the reloading (This is for the same reason that I don't drink if I know I'll be shooting/hunting; safety).

    Good tips.

Of course I am not going to go boozing and reloading, I was simply saying it as a gesture of good faith to anyone who could help.

    Just trying to be nice.

I figured as much, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

You should be able to download a manual from their website. Really, it is a simple process once you get the powder charge right and the bullet seated/crimped correctly. It sounds like you're relatively close to some shooting areas though.
