Not many problems for the second generation nissans. The engines can also handle a supercharger if you want more power later. Nissan is suposed to be doing a redesign in 15 but havent heard much about what they are changing. We went nissan becasue it has been basically unchanged since 05 and they seem to have it pretty well figured out, unlike a lot of the others who are running totally new vehicles and have teething problems.

Also there are a few companies here in denver area that sell aftermarket bumpers, roof racks, sliders and suspension lifts. Place in boulder does the bumpers and accessories and nisstec in denver does suspension. Nissan has huge aftermarket support, just like toyota.
FWIW the Tacoma has been the same truck since 2005 also. The 3rd gen trucks came out a couple of years ago but it was basically minor cosmetic changes to the hood, grill & headlights plus a couple interior changes. Same truck otherwise. The aftermarket support for the Nissan isn't anywhere near as good as it is for the Toyota. You may have options but the Tacoma has options on top of options within each category and each one is a viable option. Not saying you can't get some good stuff for your truck because you can but you stated it was just like the Toyota and it's not. Just par for the course based on units sold though.
