Just drove to San Diego and back. Not only did I not get stopped, but there just aren't many living things to interact with in the Mojave. Anyone who has driven from Twentynine Palms through Amboy to Needles knows what I mean

I'm up in WY at least once a month and have never been pulled over in that state. I suspect my habit of driving like the elderly has something to do with it.

I drive the speed limit in town, usually 2-3 under on the highway. I need to get my front plate put back on but even then I've only been pulled over for that once in 3 years.

I just drove to los Angeles and back with no issues at all. Saw a ton of state troopers in Utah sitting on the sides of the road. Tons of chp in cali also.

On I-70 through kansas last Sunday there were large signs claiming a drug checkpoint ahead with drug dogs in use. No checkpoint, but the signs were just before an exit -- Idiot trap??

Yep. They pull over people who pull off and do a u-turn.
