Default last day on the job

After 4 years and 3 months I decided I've had enough and will be leaving the company. No more working nights and weekends. No more "on call" while on vacation. More pay! Fewer hours!

I just hope my replacements (being replaced by two people) don't fall prey to the BS I've had to deal with.

I have mixed feelings about leaving but at the same time it feels like the boot is being lifted off my head and I'm able to breathe again.

    Here's to new beginnings!

Left a job like that years ago. Left on good terms, but always wanted to quit like this.

    Good luck with the future.

I have left a couple of jobs that way. Walked in on one where I had a vehicle torn down on the lift, picked up my box and left. With the nuts and bolts for the vehicle up in the air. The manager really pissed me off on that one.

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

Most times I have changed jobs it has been for the better. Good luck.
My life working is only preparation for my life as a hermit.

    Congrats...

I made a similar change 2.5 years ago, except I went to work for a company that my brothers and I started.

Best decision of my life and career. More money, fewer hours (even though I still work 65+ every week), get to work a mix of inside/outside, and the best part is my wife is happier...
