To be fair, there's a huge amount of ancient historical sites/ruins in that area. Really cool stuff if you're into pre-contemporary history.

note: you'd need more than 5 brain cells to realize that it wouldn't be a good idea given Iran being a bunch of cocks, to go traipsing around there, ruins or not.
