Shit happens.. it's either good shit or bad shit.. just depends on your outlook.

If Karma were real.. I'd say she's rather slow with some people.

I find that people who are very anti-religious are often strong believers in karma. I always chuckle at that because it is the same damn thing. Believing in some greater force than yourself equalizing the world, but hate on having faith?

it is a.completely different thing: karma to me is some sort of "balance", not unlike the balance of electrical charges, while a deity implies a concious being making concious.decisions.

I've always tried to practice it. It always feels good to help someone out of a tight spot, or return a found wallet/purse/item to the owner. A lot more so in the past than now, seems to be more risky these days to get involved with strangers. I'll still do what I can when I can, just use a little more caution.

If Karma were real, BHO and Harry Reid would be sweating it out in some field right now. Having said that, doing random good things and paying it forward give you a more positive outlook on life in general and are good for the human condition overall.

I would agree with out if everything was a level playing field- but what if they made a deal with the Devil? I mean, even the bible calls him the "prince of this world"... so he has real power HERE.. just not in eternity. Some crops take longer to sow than others...

Trust that the punishment will fit their crimes, but the wheels of justice turn slowly.

I'm a firm believer that free will and the fact that we were born into a world that's at war (and not just amongst ourselves) play a direct part into what happens in our daily lives- how else do your explain how bad things happen to good people? There are more things going on than meets the eye.

I firmly believe in Karma. My youngest son (4) and I were at King Soopers in Englewood about a month ago. Someone had left a $5 bill in the U-Scan. I looked around and asked the checker if anyone had come back looking for it. She said "No." So I handed it to the lady at the U-Scan next to me. Told her to use it towards her bill. She thanked me and asked me why I wasn't using it for my groceries. I told her I didn't need it and wanted to pay it forward. Good luck has followed me around for a while since.

As a recovered dope-smoking-hippie-liberal-douche, I'm a bit torn with the whole karma thing. I have been much nicer to many more people than have been nice to me (unlike most dope-smoking-hippie-liberal-douches who are leaches, fucktard assholes who...oh, off topic). But I still do the old "do unto others" most days. On the other hand, there have been a few folks who have helped me BIGTIME!! No questions asked kinda help. Maybe it all equals out somehow. Oh yeah! That's Karma, I guess.

I will say that when I have gone out of my way to do bad, even when bad is deserved,...bad seems to find me quickly thereafter. And man, it is tempting to do bad to some folks sometimes.

    I live in reality.
I spent most of my life being "the nice guy", all that ever seemed to happen was I was there for my friends when they needed help, but noone was ever around when I needed something. And not just sometimes, it was all the time. Now, I don't expect return of favors, but it was so obviously completely one way that I said screw it. I help out when I can, but my good samaritan tendancies go through MUCH scrutiny before I act.
