Got out and took advantage of some time off and decent weather to get a little practice in at the range today. God knows I need it. Lol.
Just thought I would share a little video.

Might want to try half stepping backwards instead of walking backwards.
Letting one foot or leg pass the other makes you much more prone to tripping.
But what do I know... I shoot sitting down, way more comfy.
And get more sunlight on those fish belly white chicken legs.......![]()
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

That's part of what I am trying to practice. I'm not used to shooting on the move. Forward or backwards. I was trying to take slow, small steps.
They definitely don't see much sunlight during the winter months or when I'm at work. Hopefully they don't get mistaken for a tastes meal by some hungry shark when I go to Hawaii in a couple of months.
Try sliding / dragging your feet as you move back. As you lift you feet you don't know till you put 1 down what you're stepping on, in to or not. Last thing you want is to step back, in to a hole with you finger on the trigger. OR trip over something, as you try retreating from a threat. YMMV

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
What range was this at?
